As days pass, metaverse is growing so fast.
Many aspects that we see and experience in the reality move in metaverse.
Many things like; casual activities, formal activities and even a thing that need professionals help now is available in metaverse.
One of the reasons that may cause metaverse quick growth is the current situation.
Pandemic change everybody’s life.
Therefore, metaverse become a new opportunity to gather many people virtually because it can’t happen in reality these times.
According to BBC News, there also another aspects of life that join metaverse.
It is not an office, restaurant or even entertainment places, but it is a church.
As we know that in these days, we can’t be in one room with amount of people.
Then seeing the virtual opportunity, some church start to take the chance.
Sophia Smith Galer, BBC world service reported her experience when attending virtual church.
It is quite the same as a church in reality, the difference is people’s virtual appearance.
As we know that when you joining metaverse, you can be whoever you want to be.
Like general Sunday Service, the Pastor preach from the altar and the congregation sit in the chairs.
When the Service end, Galer have a conversation with the Pastor.
Then, the Pastor explains why is the virtual church exist.
He said that, many other congregation that want to join the church come from different city or even country.
Then he has a great idea to make a distance not as the obstacle for everyone.
As a result, he start to open the virtual church for anyone from any other places that want to join the service find no more obstacle.
They not only can join the church as they see the screen, but also can feel as real as the church situation in metaverse.
